I mean, we /do/ need a proper gender-neutral third-person pronoun in English. “Neigh” (spell it ‘nei’ perhaps?) has some homophones but the contexts shouldn’t overlap enough for it to be a problem.
This week I came across a picture of Bruce Jenner, in a book published in the 1970s. Had someone close to him referred him to psychological counseling, he could have escaped the sad fate that he has succumbed to—getting physically butchered and chemically altered (to the filthy profits of those who “helped” him), neither of which has or can change who and what he truly is. The suicide rate among people who are so afflicted, even after they have “remedied” their situation, is distressingly high; I will be saddened, but not surprised, to hear on the news one day that he blew his brains out or took poison. I will not celebrate or tacitly support sickness, no matter how lighthearted may be the manner in which it is presented; it is something to be mourned if not treated (which adults—although not children—have the right to refuse if they so wish).
In humans they have been called “androgynous”. Regardless of what they sex really is. I have been mistaken for female since the 1990’s. It was around the time that many women started dressing as I usually am. T-shirt, jeans and bill cap. But I have no discernible feminine traits so I still find it confusing.

It’s even more horrible in Spanish, where most nouns have gender. How do they even decide on the gender of a lamppost?

If only humans could be as woke as unicorns. It’s shocking in this day and age that many people don’t think they’re a “they.”

In the unicorn world, those who go around calling other unicorns by name are known as “neigh-sayers”.

Speaking as a nonbinary (agender) person, thank you for this. I haven’t been so delighted with a comic in a long time.
