I like the “connect” waiting animation Mr. Allison managed to portray on the monitors in panel 2. :D

That’s one of the drawbacks to a tightly controlled operating system. The user has no control over the purely cosmetic aspects of the UI.

“Look…..I’m color-blind, alright? We were two weeks from launch and Design just bursts into my office and plants all these palettes in front of me, asking me which color the icons should be, like they don’t have reams of market tested data already bloody telling them, and I’m on the phone with this Chinese minister who won’t stop telling bad jokes and I don’t have the bleeding’ time to play tiebreaker so I just point one out and they’re looking at me and saying ‘you sure?’ at which point I have to cover the mouthpiece and yell back ’I’M THE F***ING CEO!!!! YES, I’M BLOODY DAMN SURE!!!!”

And off they hop, and now you are seeing the world as I see it, a gray mass of tools that do nothing when pressed.
