Quixotic, Dean!

I remember a “Calvin and Hobbes” comic where even Calvin’s father had an attempt of cycling in the snow.

So he goes from a modern BMX-style bike with a helmet to a 50’s cruiser with a newsboy cap? Is Dean riding backwards in time?

Yeah…. we got a half inch of ice overnight.

I still can’t get over ow big these kids have gotten.

We got several inches of snow last night on top of the several inches we already had. They are out plowing our neighborhood right now, so I guess a bike ride isn’t out of the question. HAHAHAHA! (If you don’t know me, I’m the one sitting in my house until it is at least 70 degrees outside.)

riding in it, not too bad if one has a mountain bike with all terrain tires. Stopping in it is a whole different topic.

Come on Dean; when the going gets tough the tough call a taxi…

When I was a teenager it was always bike weather. I grew up in a sprawling suburb and the bike was necessary to get around

I learned to ride my bike without training wheels after a snowstorm. It was my father’s idea … that way I would fall in the snow rather than on asphalt.

Nope…it’s not.

The spirit of Calvin’s dad possessed Dean that morning.
