I have a frog guest for this winter. It moved in with my giant cactus plant. We haven’t seen it, can’t testify to tongue length but it sings like somebody running their thumbnail along comb teeth. Missouri Conservation agent said it must be a comb frog. Imagine that. I have a small dish kept full of water in there and feed it works. We have had a cold and nasty winter so far this year. Froggies songs keep spring alive. I love animals, even invisible ones.

Be careful of who you insult. Not everyone has thick skin, and some of them have a longer reach than you.

A few years back, while my sister and I were visiting our parents in South Carolina, we were on our way to the supermarket when my sister brought the car to a screeching halt! “AHHHH! GET IT OUT!! GET IT OUT!!” She shouted! That’s when my father and I spotted a small green frog, sitting inside the driver’s side window! Chaos soon followed as the frog began to leap around as my father and I tried to catch it! Finally, my father opened the door and the frog jumped to freedom…My dad turned to my sister and said, “I guess he wanted you to drop him off at the lake.” We laughed the whole way to the supermarket!
