The Chief’s last words yesterday were spoken with a piece of paper in his hand. This caused me (and I think many of us here) to believe that he was coming into the discussion with a specific, pertinent piece of information. Instead, we get a vague notion about “refocusing” – and how do they know that Splitface is the dominant personality? They haven’t heard the various “conversations” between the personalities that we, the readers have seen and heard. Did they get a warrant to force Splitface’s psychiatrist to give them a profile – does Splitface even have a personal psychiatrist?
Are we supposed to assume that Splitface swiped the gun off of the disabled police guard? That seems the most logical explanation of Tracy’s statement in panel 2, but we never saw anything like that, did we? I don’t remember him brandishing a gun at all.
Okay, the MCU, or at least Tracy and Chief Patton, are doing some honest procedural detective work, checking into whatever warehouse might be the one used by Circling Brothers and likely familiar to Tulza and Zelda—a fitting lair for the 3-in-1 and his/their nefarious intentions: “Take a dive, Zelda; your last one ever, though unfortunately it won’t make a Big Splash—more like a squishy Splat!”

Love that were getting some sussing out of a method here. I believe who ever called her reenacting a high dive will be taking the prize.

“…Don’t they store their equipment?”
“No, they just let it lay around where any criminal crackpot could use it.”
