A kid in geometry class used to have his notebook open to the same homework he did at the beginning of the semester for every class.One day the teacher said, “Ruben thinks I don’t notice he’s had his book opened to the same page every class.”

Calvin needs help, but not with this.

Calvin grossly underestimates a teacher’s ability to find mistakes!

To think Calvin isn’t good at math according to the second panel. He just did wonderful division.

I was in the military and one day I took a close look at the noodles I was eating and realized the pepper had legs, LOL! When I told my friend across from me he thought I was fooling as I was still eating them. I said, I had started might as well finish. He looked and stopped, LOL!

Susie, give up. Calvin is not listening

It’s amazing how much breath I’ve saved and how much calmer I’ve become when I learned to shut up when people weren’t listening.

Calvin knows that not everything you see is actually what you think you see.

This morning the local radio show ran a clip of Ron Howard describing his days on the set on the Andy Griffith show back in the 60s. Opie loved to eat ice cream cones and you can see that in many of the episodes but it was so hot they couldn’t use real ice cream. So they substituted mash potatoes.

The first time I ever read this arc, I didn’t think catching five bugs a minute was so impossible. Then again, it seems like when you’re in a time crunch, things that seem so easy are impossible.

Yes, but one assignment different from 29 others will stand out.

A ball of lint? “Laugh it up, fuzzball!” Quick, without Googling, where does that line come from?

I have a hard time believing that Mrs Wormwood would be interested in looking at any bugs. Unless she is looking for long-lost relatives.

If the teacher only specified bugs and not insects, get a copy of Windoze Vista, 50 bugs, no problem.

Susie stop wasting your time and let Calvin get the “ F “ that he deserves..

Come on Calvin, it’s harder to pull off a Tom Lehrer style ‘Lobachevsky’ in biology that in math.

I agree no teacher will check all the hairy bugs and this one will be counted.

Maybe not every kid, but you can bet she’ll take a closer look at particular kids’ bugs.
