We’ve had enough older dogs in this house that we’ve learned what to do when the stairs from the deck get to be too much. So when our current senior dog needs help up, we throw a strap round his middle to support him as he makes his way up. When he gets to the top and I’m still struggling up (bad knees), he runs over the door then runs back to the stairs and meets me when we’re about eye-level and I swear that dog is thanking me and making sure I make up alright.

Proves it is good manners to express a thank you, and it is never to late to express the thanks.

When he dropped the bone it knocked all the yellow off of it and turned it white! Crazy and interesting.

That’s got to be one heavy bone, and not very humerus.

That bone must be fossilized.
