It seems that even Clybourne has heard of Dick Tracy. I’m amazed that Splitface has set up a meeting place for some future time. I think he’s done, I suppose there could be another story with one of these characters. I don’t think we need one, but we should be prepared.
Looks like “mister confidence” will give himself up if he can’t find a way out. Meanwhile the kid gets away. Will Sam be waiting when Clybourne gets outside ?
Something’s not quite adding up (which considering Splitface is criminally insane makes odd sense)…..Tracy and Catchem had to hear Splitface call out to Clybourne, so how is he going to get away? And what makes Splitface so confident he’ll break out of jail after he’s caught? Does he remember some secret passage from prior times in the slammer?
Are all three selves confident he can break out again, or is Splitface sharing a minority opinion? Might he have had some help when he broke out of Wertham Woods?
With the lights out, and Splitface’s attention focused on Tracy and Clybourne; Zelda should at least climb down from the ladder and make a break for it (or find someplace to hide)
During the battle with Tracy, Splitface is going to climb up the diving platform he set up. But since he did such a lousy job of it, it’s going to collapse and he’s going to plunge to his death.
Is Splitface’s plan just to postpone his crime until the next go-around? He seems intent on having his flunky, Clybourne the Not-So-Bright, at that place (“The place I told you about.”), as if ready to assist him once he breaks out of jail (prison, hospital, whatever). “Assist” with what if not tracking down Zelda yet again and finishing what he has begun: his mindless revenge!
Of course, he still has to stay alive while Tracy and Sam collar him and get Zelda down from however far up the dive tower she now is. That could be tricky if the coppers see him still holding his gun and deem him to pose a threat to their lives. Tracy is not reluctant to shoot….

It depends on if Split Face survives this encounter. He seems very sure he can break out. Maybe a supermax sanitarium next. We shall see.

You’re shooting at Dick Tracy and you expect to live long enough to be caught? Aw, c’mon, now…

Clybourne better beat it out of there before Tulza Haf-Split changes one of his minds.

This is why you call in backup before you go in – to set up a perimeter around the building, guard all the exits, and assist inside if necessary…

I’m calling it now (if someone already hasn’t):

Maybe next time he’s cornered Splitface won’t send his captive so high up a ladder she’s useless as a hostage.

BTW, how’d that musical turn out after that dude exposed himself? Guess the artists totally forgot about that lead in to this mish-mosh.
