@Number Three Today’s strip IS very funny for a change , our Hero Mr Andrew Capp shows good judgment , after bonking into someone in the dark and was geared up to get into a punch-up , when the police officer shined a torch , he glibly turned it into an apology :o) right? my avatar is an old photo of a Carnival float because today is the last day of Carnival in Malta , I like your new Avatar, how was your day? ours will be another" Manic Monday" for Connie and a bit hectic for me because I have errands to run , and I have to walk to do them:;{ , take care pal.

Andy appears to be sober. Must be on his way to the pub.

Nothing an alcoholic/drunk does is funny. They are a pathetic lot.

I’m reminded of a WWII era joke about General Eisenhower touring an army base. One very dark night a private bumps into him and both are knocked down.

“Why don’t you look where you’re going, you clumsy oaf!” snarls the private.

“Do you happen to know who I am?” snaps the general.

    “General Eisenhower, no doubt!”

    “That’s right!”

The private, after a moment of terror, replies, “Oh, yeah? Well, do you happen to know who I am?”

The general, somewhat surprised, answers, “No.”

The private yells, “Thank goodness!” and runs off into the dark.

Saying Andy has half a mind is being way too generous.

The officer was not very smart … he has completely ruined his own night vision instead of Andy’s.

As Ben Franklin never commented, “All fight clouds look gray in the dark.”

I remember one time when I was driving up a one-way street in my hometown and someone turned on to the street right in front of me so I had to swerve to avoid them. I laid on the horn before I realized that the other car was a police car.

Reminds me of a scene from a Three Stooges film. Shemp: “I oughta-” Moe: “You oughta WHAT?!” Shemp: “I oughta be more careful!”
