Sweet sweet drawings, but doesn’t the Burrowing Owl have rather longer legs than the ones depicted here? (And is it just me, or is burrowing a rather odd thing for an owl to do?)
One of the “weird nature” shows featured a story recently about customers complaining that their phone service had gone out. When the techs came out to check the transmitter, they removed the cover & an avalanche of acorns came spilling out. The acorn woodpeckers had been using it to stash acorns but had been unable to retrieve them, so an insane number of acorns had accumulated.

Red breasted nuthatches always sound crabby and irritated to me.

I spotted a new bird to add to my list while out for a bike ride a few days ago, a male bobolink. It was a real treat to see…and hear!
