Alternative Script: 1) So you say you dress poorly because you’re doing an undercover expose of Fashions In Baseball for our magazine “Glamourous Glamour”? 2) Yeah. I’m going to expose the real reason “Stirrup Pants” have all but disappeared from the game 3) Excellent my boy! You’re unfired!
This is starting to feel like Mike’s veiled commentary re. his detractors. But glad to see Joe Sampson back & appreciate any story that shines a focus on Bonnie, one of the many underdeveloped characters within the Tracy clan.
Confirmation of a few things. Barnabas Tar is indeed a sports columnist, and specifically one who likes to incite (enflame, arouse, anger) his readers. And Old Smokey (who looks like a cross between Perry White and Diet Smith) is indeed the editor of The Daily. If this is The Tracyville Daily, then I suppose Tar started working for it only recently but is already having a positive impact on readership. Provocative columnists, sports or otherwise, tend to have that effect short-term but then begin to turn off fans. That might explain Tar’s job shift from Washington state to the bigger, Tracyville apple….

Is this a Spiderman crossover?
Certainly seems like we’re heading towards Yet Another rushed, tossed together ending.

For all their moralizing, when the chips are down, it’s all about the money for big media, too.

methinks barnabas might be the next victim instead of the killer.
the killer might be taking offense to barnabas’ column and target him for extinction next
