Kinda reminds me of a real old Archie Comics I saw ages ago. The gang comes upon a bunch of broken stone sign pieces saying ‘KING’, ‘NE’, ‘ZO’, ‘PAR’ and ‘NO’. They all think it is for a former ruler with names like NOPARNEZO or ZONOPARNE and start walking away, Then Jughead puts it together as:
I think you have all missed the scientific point. Since they are in space (pressure) suits, this implies that the body they landed on has not or insufficient atmosphere to maintain life. Since we know (?) that bodies with sufficient mass will collect an atmosphere over time. This indicates that the body(planet) has insufficent mass hence gravity so that the falling rock will weigh far less than earth rock. It is still sufficient mass to hurt/kill Ensign Kenny but would be the result of inertia not necessarily weight. I believe ( for what that is worth) the rock fell and after striking him, bounced away leaving our intrepid ensign down but not necessarily dead. That would have required(?) a red space suit shirt. I say GOOD JOB TIM! Great nuance. ;-)

Was Ensign Kenny wearing a red shirt, by any chance (oh, and by the way, nice “South Park” reference!)?

Ensign Kenny has had so many accidents on the strip that I wonder if they are not using clones of the original character.

Quite a ‘crunch’ there – Kenny must stay crispy in milk!

Ensign Kenny apparently has the same agent as Ted in “Dilbert”.

There was once a very un-PC joke about a Native American named Falling Rock.

I read it as Watch For Falling Rocks! I had to re-read to see the other. Strange how the mind works.

One of these days, the Kenny family is just going to have to learn to stop sending their young men to Space Academy.
