That’s probably the only thing I didn’t do when I went bowling. Hitting my ankles with the ball, getting my fingers stuck (I sprawled in the alley on that one) and accidentally flipping the ball into the next lane. Athletic I am NOT.
Leo Rosten beautifully explained the difference between a klutz and a schlimazel – a klutz is a person who trips while carrying the soup and a schlimazel is the person the soup falls on. Broomie did them both!
