My late Yorkie mix would fetch 2 or 3 times. Then she would stand still, drop the ball and give me that “now you come and get it” look.
Yep. My Lab/Staff mix absolutely refused to fetch. He chased only live ‘prey’. Luckily he never considered people and other dogs as prey.
