    Liberal highway. (figures)

Now there’s a conservative. He sees an empty highway and only notices that there are no liberals on it.

Look how much smoother the “Hard Work” highway is. The “Cheat” road looks like the roads where I live, unmaintained because all the money is going to new roads.

Hilariously, the “hard work” road goes to another cliff drop.

(Spoiler: They both do, but one’s a scenic route.)

Isn’t that just the way everything always turns out??? The Road Less Traveled has fewer potholes, and because it’s less traveled there’s no one to impress with your success. Meritocracy … that used to be the American way … now it’s the seems the easier way that has the most adherents. It’s not surprising that more and more people are looking for the easy way …the side door… the ride on somebody else’s shoulders. It used to be that the conservatives, the moderates, and even the moderate liberals believed in meritocracy… Now it looks like no one does.
