Sounds like a great plan. They could put it in Lake George (the town, not the lake).

And cheater Pete Rose still doesn’t qualify.

Well at least they were given a shot at entering into this hall of fame.

The Hall of Flame? The Hall of Shame?

I guess Barry Bonds is first inductee?

Gee, I expected it to be bigger.

Will we have a baseball gamblers hall?

This is where the asterisk leads!

I suppose instead of bats, balls and gloves, they’ll have needles.

Drug problems come in many forms. If people get paid for playing, they are going to do whatever they can to do better to get paid more. I suppose that is what we get for paying athletes for ‘working’ at sports. Not a critique, just an observation.

they could just add a wing to the existing hall and call it the Hall of Infamy – Pete Rose, Barry Bonds, etc would be welcome.

The problem is that when they built the Baseball Steroid Hall of Fame it was the size of an outhouse…

Understand halls of fame for what they are: tourist attractions designed to attract paying crowds. They are like those “Who’s Who” books: just a cheap gag to make money.
