Colin’s newspapers were getting wet in the rain too.

What kind of food colouring is that? The rain not only washes the food colouring out of her hair, but it also transforms the rest of her face shape to where young Elly looks like old Elly. Is that what this story is about? The transformation of Elly from a freckled and cute, round-faced teenager into long-faced, middle-aged woman with a giant nose? No wonder Colin looks shocked.

Young Elly looks like a combination of Lizzy and April’s friend Becky McGuire.

BWAHAHAHA!!! Still, he noticed her.

Talk about rotten luck! We’ve all had days (weeks, months, years?) like that!

Sometimes funny is sexy. Right?

Would this Carrie re-enactment have happened before or after the movie came out?

Lynn’s Comments:

It did rain. I was wearing a light blue coat and the red colouring dripped down onto my collar and shoulders. I didn’t want to spoil our walk, so I didn’t run home until the colour ruined my coat.

In the 80’s, my hair loaded up with mousse and hairspray to make as big as possible, and then getting caught in a downpour. :)
