I know cats who don’t eat their crunchies until after suitably hunting and killing them.

Our daughter-in-law asked us to pick up a certain brand of dog food at PetSmart. We looked at the $10 bags, but no, we had to buy the $56 bag. That’s 3 AARP trips to Denny’s for us!

Eons ago, our feist, Daisy, loved to chase each and every kibble. We’d throw them into the yard where she’d pounce and scarf them down one-by-one. Then she’d race around the 85’ X 65’ yard, with tail flying like a banner!

I don’t see Roscoe being leader of the pack.

That’s the downside to all of that freedom. Even my sister’s feral cat would show up regularly at meal times!

I buy Kibbles & Bits for my cat….never tried it though…..lmao

I’ve started putting a bit of Caesar with my dogs’ kibble. I tell you, that stuff smells good enough to eat!

Wild Kibbles ’n bits can be ferocious. Best to stick with the domesticated ones.

The average house pet would die rather quickly if humanity were to die or vanish tomorrow.

I home cook food for my two girls. It is not any cheaper but it is quite healthy. They also get added supplements to round out their diet.

Don’t quite have the wild thing down yet.

And you don’t even want to go 10 rounds with a nest of Beggin’ Strips!

I know people who are appalled at the idea of actually killing the meat that they eat without further thought when they get it at the grocery or restaurant.
