clearly not from the same stock as Dug from “Up.” Or they’re like the ones from “Mutts” that throw stuff.

This is starting to give me the creeps. Roscoe only wants to experience The Wild from inside a fenced yard, not let loose in some park. Where’s his leash?

My dogs love to chase squirrels, but I doubt they’d know what to do if they ever caught one. :)

Our chihuahua “Blondie” is a ferocious sentry behind the fence! Otherwise she is wimpy!

Our dog wasn’t afraid of skunks. He proved that over and over.

Squirrels are EVIL. My outlaws’ dachshund used to chase them up trees, where they’d turn around just out of reach & loudly proclaim exactly what they thought of her efforts. A couple of them could bark louder than she did.

We have nothing to fear but fear itself.

    And spiders.

Our cat loves to watch the squirrels. Yesterday, she found one that was harvesting left over bird seed on the rail behind a bench and got within a couple of feet of it. She’s an 11-pound critter and this was a Douglas Squirrel (1/6 her size or less). When she popped up for a closer look, Dougie charged at her, yelling. She was so surprised she fell off the bench. Dougie was so surprised at his temerity that he had to run away too.

Afraid of squirrels? He should have the cone of shame permanently attached to his head!
