I’m confused!! If Tracy is driving, how can Joe be following? The shoulder in panel 1 makes it look like Joe is still in the squad car (and intimately guarding the stick shift?) If they’re blocked then who’s making the collar? Did Sam and Lee follow for back up? Was Bonnie packing heat and decided to step up? Is it the maître d’ making sure Tar doesn’t successfully dine & dash?

Honestly, I would rather have seen several days of Tracy chasing Tar & then cornering him in an alley than a confusing cut-away to Joe Sampson in a squad car.
Bar Tar is panic-stricken as Tracy closes in! He may not even have a combat knife on him! And on the other side of that fence is the would-be boyfriend of Bonnie, (the grotesquely mis-colored in panel 1) Joe Sampson, who is, if anything, likely to go harder on you than Tracy would….
Barnabas will be apprehended. Does that put an end to the killing spree of The Professor/Teacher’s Pet?

For someone as cocky and self confident as Tar is his apparent panic in panel 3 is surprising.
I’m not saying it’s a wrong depiction of him, just surprising.
