I came back on to make one more comment – I hit me while I was making a cup of tea. IF I wonder why some people are reading a cartoon that they obviously dislike, why am I wasting time reading the comments? Another thing that flashed was a lesson from an Orthodox rabbi on gossip – it applies to speech as well – there are 3 questions that should be asked? 1) Is it kind? 2) Is it true? 3) Is it necessary? The third question is the one that stops me in my tracks.
