The good thing about twitter and all that social media is that we don’t have to over hear conversations that annoy us. The bad thing about it is that we don’t know what is irritating the other people in the room.

Facebook kills brain cells…. Stating the obvious!

It’s been that time for ages, Danae. The problem is that stupid people – being stupid as they are – don’t realize it.

Well, a quick Google search did reveal a Wiley Miller / Non Sequitur page on Facebook, but nothing’s been added in the last seven years, and Miller seems to have deleted his twitter account. I wonder if he has Netflix?

First half of Danae’s demand could apply to Buttercup. The second half could apply to almost anyone with a phone camera.

Frankly, it really is time for a new universal time zone. Just as we shrank (NOT “SHRUNK”) the total number of time zones in the world from thousands (each locality having its own) down to 24, we’ve now reached the point in global civilization where we’d be better off all using Universal Time (UT, formerly Greenwich Mean Time), so whenever you’re telling somebody “The meeting is at 15:30”, it would be 15:30 everywhere on the planet.

Fringe benefit: We finally get rid of stupid, wasteful, expensive, annoying Daylight Saving Time.

If all the stupid people shut up the silence in Washington would be rather eerie.

Not being on Facebook and Twitter helps me stay smart! As Mr. T always said, “I pity da fools.”

Note to Humanity: If you leave Facebook & Twitter the world will not end. You will have to leave the house though. You will see real life, meet real people, engage in real conversations, you will in short have a life.

We were supposed to have jetpacks and flying cars by now, and just maybe doing the “Flowers for Algernon” thing RIGHT. But, no, progress is never as fast as it should be. Just possibly on account of stupid people?

The stupid people should have shut up a long time ago. It’s about time.
