Frank might be using some wisdom. If he flips out, she would probably be more driven to become Jeremy’s girlfriend. By remaining calm. he may be able to watch out for her benefit. I have heard of some girls liking the fact that there fathers have insisted on interviewing the boy before allowing the date. It gives the girl a reason to not go out with someone they don’t like by blaming the father. If and when my daughter begins dating, I would like to meet the young man first. That way I should let him know that I am interested in my daughter’s welfare and ease my mind about who she is seeing.
