Tommy sort of blended in with the wall there. I didn’t see him at first glance. Can Beatrix even see the dog with all those coffee cups in front of her?
OFF TOPIC, I just saw Georgia’s instagram post of her studio, and the thing that intrigues me the most is the big, beautiful, prominent picture of The Who. There must be a story behind that.
The problem is that they don’t know him. They have probably never seen a dog before, so they thought dogs were just mythical monsters, like the Mailman.
I think there may be a serious problem in mere seconds. Spilled coffee everywhere! And I guess that may tick off a few cats/dog, but who cares! Spilled coffee!! Can’t someone think of the coffee?!?
The Boys are displaying mild xenophobia. Apparently they have not met a dog before. I believe they will find this pooch is a good boy.
On another matter, Belle the kitten has ingratiated herself with Giblet. They are now playing together. And the 3:00 A.M. zoomies* have begun, right across us as we sleep. The other cats do not join in, they like to have a good night’s sleep like their people.
*Zoomie(s) /zo͞omies/
verb
To move very quickly, especially over static objects like sleeping people. Particularly at all hours of the night.
I am actually surprised Elvis is being so reasonable. I expected epic poofage from all 3 boys. Beatrix is too young to have acquired a lot of xenophobi.
I often find myself pausing before I say the word … “dog.” Sometimes I have to spell it “d*g.” I walk our daughter’s d*g 3 times a week. We get along fine although I wish he’d stop having fits every time he sees a bicycle or a motorcycle.
I am still loving Beatrix’s big floofy paws, she reminds me of my Hobbes, lots of fur between those toes, he loved to slide on the kitchen floor! Miss him.

Love Puck peeking into the panel there. And how can Beatrix even see where she’s going, with that huge tray of coffee in her way?

Bea fascinating to get her reaction. And the reaction of the boys after they’ve had their coffee.

Love Tommy’s right whisker. It’s out to “there.” But, what happened to left whisker?

For a wonderful example of dog / cat best buds, look at Henry & Baloo on Instagram - https://www.instagram.com/henrythecoloradodog/
(I posted this late Saturday, but suspect not many people caught it, and think it’s worth reposting…)

Saw him leaning against the wall (all, all)
Compared to Burt he was 10 feet tall (all, all)
The largest cat anyone had ever seen.
Then Burt said, Boys don’t be uncool (ool, ool)
He’s no shape shifter, please don’t be a fool (ool, ool)
This is a dog and he’s my friend, too!
…….
He’s a good boy, really, all the way,
He’d like to come and greet you,
But he’s had a stressful day.
He’s a good boy, really, all the way,
I’d like for you to meet him,
Cause I know it’d be worthwhile!
I say:
Let the kitties smile,
If it takes awhile,
We should get to know him!
