Interesting that the two shows both came onto TV at about the same time. I watched The Addams Family regularly. I avoided The Munsters. The former was mordant, funny, and just the right shade of Dark. The latter was too slapsticky for my taste….
I love both. They are very similar yet very different, but it is what is different that leave you entertained, and at the same time, it is what is similar that has you appreciate the eccentric macabre family humor.

Shut up, Owen. Now I know why no one likes you.

It’s about the fight, not the content. Mention My Mother the Car and Mr. Ed.

The only thing better about the Munsters was their car!

All they need is room enough for two TVs… let Leo buy one for himself.

Definitely the Addams Family.

Not in mine. Uncle Fester alone seals the deal. Jackie Coogan’s greatest role.

Too bad the families never met, it would of been great.

I thought All in the Family was much weirder than either of those two.
