Exactly what our new “rescue” dog must be thinking. (He’s nuts for his tennis ball, but still only 70% on bringing it back instead of waiting for us to get it for him.)

We had a really smart dog once who would play fetch for a while and then he would throw the ball with a toss of his head and look at us to go fetch it.

Aim for the cat, funny.

There’s a reason for that, Pooch!

I wonder if, in universe, the guy is shocked that dog can talk.

Look at his grip. He’s throwing a knuckleball and it’s likely to go anywhere.

Bob is just dogging it.

Bob is stunned. He never knew his dog could talk!

That would be pussing the boundaries.

Fido (Por ahí <<<<) is a great fetch player.

Why would the cat want the ball? HE’s not going to fetch it.

Guess you’re going to have to deal with the cat on your own, Rover.

No, he’s aiming for the squirrel. SQUIRREL!

Dawg, you surely don’t get it. I do want to hit that cat. I’m trying to get you to fetch that hot brunette.

I’m a big fan of those arm-extender throwing thingies. Not only can you aim at more distant cats, but if the dog brings the ball back, you don’t have to touch the slime.

Because he’s not!

Ok, that man needs to understand the dogs thinking. That’s the problem!
