Oh, come now, Janet. You’re being deliberately obtuse. Remember:
https://www.gocomics.com/arloandjanis/2016/05/22.
The episode runs thru the 28th and is worth reviewing.
The whole “Vince” fling refers to strips from 1993 for which gocomics has no archive. At the time Janice was having doubts about her marriage and Vince was a sympathetic ear.
As mentioned in a different post, I have a FB account with a version of my name and it is so private that I cannot even see the posts on it, okay not really that bad. I have no friends. I follow no one and nothing. It is just an account if I need to go a page for some business which I need info about and it has no other website.
Husband said to me a few weeks ago – “Don’t you want to see your old friends – maybe your best friends?” I looked at him with a quizzical look. What friends? My sister was my best and only friend and I don’t need to go on FB for her."
I did look up my high school boyfriend once – looks the same, but gray. I told husband about it – no jealousy or his being upset about it. He is in contact with a few of his old girlfriends. I know about it. He tells me what they (and his other friends) post. Doesn’t bother either of us that there were other people in our lives or that contact might happen. We love each other and no one else matters. I have met most of his old girlfriends. Old boyfriend went away to college and never was back again that I know of – or husband would have met him.
People manage to come up with the craziest ideas of jealousy and mistrust of spouses that I cannot understand.

At least I know I wouldn’t have to worry about something like that happening to me. If it did I would suspect someone was catfishing me.

I resisted a smart phone until I had to drive across tornado alley in storm season and REALLY, REALLY wanted up-to-date weather information.
