but the good news is that you get them back, Clover, But then there’s more bad news: when you head into your “golden” years, you get to lose them again & even worse news: THEN you have to buy fake ones!
I first thought Offal was being horrible. Then it occurred to me that he may GENUINELY be trying to help. The smile one of “Cheer up kid! It’s OK!!” but from a person that’s REALLY awkward and uncomfortable doing it. And yeah, I’ve known people THAT BAD at working with kids, just through their inexperience and not having needed to work with kids before.
Hahahahaha. I’m sure everyone is now awake and because no good deed goes unpunished, Offal will be getting an earful. That’s the price of trying to be nice, Offal!
