Sounds more like a crow than a pigeon. But then, I’ve never heard a pigeon that big.

Hopefully better the ‘The Giant Claw’ bird.

It needs a really big statue to perch on. Send it to N.Y.C. …or better yet, Rio. Brazil should be far enough away to make the park safe.

I there some kind of nefarious laboratory around there experimenting on animals??

It’s the skyline pigeon.

If only he could stumble upon giant bones – wait, wouldn’t that be from dinosaurs?

Kaa-Kaaaw isn’t pigeon. It’s crow. Now ask me what it said. I know.

As one who has been around pigeons all my life (I used to feed them in my yard, had several as indoor pets, and my brother raised them), I can testify that pigeons do indeed make all kinds of noises, including one that sounds like a crow cawing. They do that when they are agitated – disputing who is going to eat that food, sit on that ledge, etc. Or in this case, chase away Poncho! They don’t just “coo” – they make a variety of interesting sounds.
