Honestly, who throws a shoe?

My grandfather had a horse that threw a shoe.

Despite the looks, I take it we are not talking foam style flip-flops here?

My personal experience with “La Chancla,” was limited to being slapped upside the head with it. I was lot younger then and had a harder head.

More often used by women in my neck of the woods to swat, rather than to fling.

Every Italian Mom in history when one is out of reach of the wooden spoon.

Forgot what i said to Mom, but sitting on the sofa she grabbed her high-heel slipper from her foot, & flung it at me around 20 ft. away..

Time slowed down as i watched the slipper tumble toe over heel right to my forehead..

When that stiletto heel made impact to my skull, i heard her gasp, then she asked me if i’m alright..

After i said i’m ok, she then proceeded to dress me down for making her mad..!

I just throw a fit!!!
