I’ve always loved Kliban’s whimsy.

She just needed to wash some bottles.

He’s certainly no ordinary cat.

I’m betting she bought him a tail for every day of the week.

This reminds me of the time when BS the Maine Coon Monster™ got a horrible case of fleas. He was allergic to flea bites & licked his tail until it was naked & scabby because of the itching. Poor guy looked like a 15-lb. orange-&-white rat. I had to give him punk bubble-gum flavored penicillin drops (no pills, thank Ceiling Cat!) until his tail healed, & the bug guys fan-sprayed all the carpets for several months. No more fleas, but I felt so sorry for BS while the process was going on…
