It’s true, Lucy, it’s hard to be bitter and there’s no satisfaction in it.

First things first. get rid of that bare butt ad that pops up with every comic. Then see if something can be done about Lucy.

Lucy, your grandmother would whack you with her purse if she heard you insult her pitching skill like that.

That last panel may be the wisest thing I’ve read from Lucy.

Best just to let it go, Lucy, but I suppose you weren’t written that way.

The real trouble is, she’s right.

Do they still call insults to the opposite team players in little league? I grew up with a little league field down the street. Many a summer’s early eve was spent listening to “batter, batter, batter”, “swing!”, and more. In fact, if the field was too quiet, the coach would yell out, “more chatter out there!”.

Destroying their self esteem and confidence is Lucy’s “Job Security”. It ensures that She will have more “Psychiatry” booth patients.

I find bitterness quite easy.
