And the Amish out in Northeastern to mid-Western US don’t do photography because it is considered a graven image. (Was the chap with the camera phone claiming to be Andy’s biggest fan?)
@Number Three Today’s strip IS funny but it’s a continuation of yesterday’s strip , our Hero Mr Andrew Capp , is still wary of smart phones because a photo of him can incriminate him :o) right? my avatar today is of a Chinese Dragon carved from a single piece of wood , the Dragon is supposed to bring you luck , how was your Finally Friday? ours should be busy but calm I hope and we will be having our Friday fav nosh in the evening , have fun pal.
People like Andy have good reason to be “camera shy”.
Problem is, that with the proliferation of cell phones with cameras, and the ubiquitous CCTV cameras, it’s getting harder and harder to avoid having one’s picture taken. Big Brother (and Little Neighbor) are indeed watching you!
I prefer to take pictures with a digital camera rather than a smartphone. I think cameras in cell phones have a good, practical purpose (e.g. to be used in case of emergencies, etc.) but I don’t think they were originally intended to replace actual cameras.

A photo of Andy actually paying for something will be actual evidence against him.

When the police captain says “Round up the usual suspects,” they always start with Andy.
