Humid in here tonight :’(

Lovin’ this poem even if Chloe doesn’t rhyme with ago!

I am wiped out tonite. I was just starting to make chili (18 ingredients) when my Real Estate Agent called to tell me she wanted to show the house in an hour and a half. I’m in my pjs, the bed isn’t made and the dishes weren’t put away. So I , at a dead run, dressed, cleaned up the kitchen, put away all the chili fixings, vacuumed the upstairs, including the stairs, made the bed, picked up and sprayed Febreeze just in case there was a stray smell. Phew!

After they left I still had to make the chili and potato salad for our neighborhood pot luck today. I keep forgetting how old I am!

Put me in mind of a friend I visited yesterday now in a nursing home who is getting his affairs in order and looking for someone to be his executor etc.

What is wrong with you people? Today’s strip was a masterpiece and defined older kitties wonderfully. It brought tears to my eyes. No body even mentioned the strip and how wonderful it was. I am sorry for the uncaring people that “appreciate” this strip. Thank you, Mr Harrop!!!!

So now I am crying as I look at my 15-year-old kitty (whose sister we lost in October 2018 of last year). As I watch her grower frailer, I worry that I was not a good enough kitty-mommy to them. This poem is a lovely tribute to older kitties everywhere.

Sweetheart is about 14, so, yeah.

I think i might want to consider buying a print of this one.
