Wow, Lennie — a quote from a movie released 47 years ago? And not even the Offer He Couldn’t Refuse one, but a more obscure line from its beginning, too. Studios had real drummers in your day, and we waited for the rates to go down for the day before making our long distance calls. Not to mention Schulz was alive then and would’ve sued you…

Yer brave like me. Old like me, too.

I play trombone, too. This is getting too scary.

Let’s hope Fred doesn’t end up sleeping with the fishes like Luca Brasi. Bulletproof vest – hah!

Is Lennie going to ask Don Snoopy for a favor?

Fred better run back to England while he has a chance.

How about quotations and a footnote—-can’t go wrong turning to Kate Turabian when a crisis presents.

While Snoopy has remarkable range, even for a Beagle, I just have a hard time seeing him doing Brando doing Don Vito. Maybe if he went the “Pawpet theatre” approach.

Must have been during his “Head Beagle” phase…

Snoopy has a daughter? And she’s getting married? I hope we don’t have to see any horses heads.

This strip is too good. I’m still laughing. Hope Fred doesn’t wind up sleeping with the fishes.

I love Snoopy but of all dog cartoon characters, I can’t see him being a Godfather – unless he gets props for being one of the most famous/oldest?
