While we are all captives of B-B Eyes now, he’d better treat Annie right, because she won’t stand for being messed with. She’s a smart cookie who is very self-reliant.

Notice how Annie didn’t mention her father just now.

I suppose that I have seen Annie cornered before, but I forget what her attitude was… – Usually Annie is optimistic to a fault; she could be friends with Pollyanna Whittier. – Defiance towards BB Eyes or anyone with this kind of power over her situation is bad. If he thinks that he is “going down” he might decide to take Annie with him.

Looks like BB Eyes & Co are about to get their tickets punched for a ride with the Magi.

News flash: Annie Warbucks escaped kidnapping today when her abductors died laughing …

Annie’s had it with thugs picking on defenseless women, and she’s got her redhead up! She is more buying time and delaying than actually threatening. Does anyone think she doesn’t know that the Asp and Punjab will be coming to the rescue? All she needs is to buy time, maybe goad B-B Eyes into the classic Dumb Megalomaniacal Villains’s Long Expository Speech Before Carrying Out Threats, thus giving the Good Guys time to show up. Maybe Muscle, Mr. Wink, will be foolish enough to draw down on the Asp and Punjab. Meanwhile Tracy can re-apprehend B-B Eyes before he is whisked off to Nowhere/Utopia by Punjab’s mystical power….

Gypsy says “I was partying with my friend Trixie when the policeman O’Malley was brought in.” That implies that BB Eyes was running some kind of dance club or the like. But O’Malley met his end in the back alley behind BB’s tire bootleg operation in a garage. BB didn’t own a sort of nightclub that i can remember.

Let’s see if that attitude will get the anywhere!
