    The bar for candidacy is low, indeed (check the current usurper & the 16 midgets he beat in the primary for an idea of how low), but I don’t think we’ve quite sunk to cat people yet…….. (Calm down; some of my best friends are cat people. I just don’t go to their houses.)

    Actually that would be a great interview question: How many pets in your family, who feeds them, what are their names? Assessement of character comes from building up a picture with lots of little details.

    “What are their names” is key: They aren’t your pets unless you know them by name (and they aren’t really yours unless you at least sometimes feed them).
