June 11 is:

National Making Life Beautiful Day. Works for me! We’re supposed to have nice weather and it’s my day off. Can life get any more beautiful than nice weather on a day you don’t work? It could only be better if it was a paid day off.

National Corn on the Cob Day. I was planning on having that for dinner even before I knew it was Corn on the Cob Day!

National German Chocolate Cake Day. A good dessert to go with the corn on the cob.

National Call Your Doctor Day. Well, I don’t know about that one. What would I call about?

I’m looking forward to getting into my garden today and planting some flowers in my yard and just having a beautiful day off now that my cold has mostly gone away. I need to mow the lawn too. I’m not so excited about that.

I am so lucky, I just got an email telling me that one Henry Erickson left me 12 million dollars and because I have the same last name I’m entitled to it! WOW…. and all I have to do is give them my bank info.

I did not just fall off the truck! Does anybody fall for those?
