    I heard a trainer once say, “you don’t have to yell at your dog. They can hear two rabbits making out a mile away”

    That’s why when my husband’s office assistant dog is “working” with him downstairs in the front of the house he can hear the food bowls being filled upstairs in the back of the house and come tearing up the stairs like his tail is on fire. It’s also why he can off like an air raid siren when he sees someone at the door before we even know anyone’s there, raising us to the ceiling in the process.
