And no – option 1. Get the plot from Wikipedia, and use the Wikipedia footnotes (not the article itself) for the rest. The teacher will check the actual Wikipedia article.
In my mother’s effects, I found an old book report of mine for Henry Fielding’s Tom Jones. But I know I didn’t read that book at the time. I’ve read it since. And it’s a pretty good book report. I actually gave some good insights, in fact. And I have no idea where I got the information, or how I made that book report.
My wife teaches college and catches them all the time. Faculty can run papers through a plagiarism software. Sometimes you don’t need to though, when somebody that can’t speak coherently turns in a PhD paper, you spot it pretty quick.
What teacher assigns reports all semester long with the same end-of-semester due date? I’d say they’re all F’s except the most recent. Students can’t progress if there is no feed-back along the way.
A while back, a bit of adware or malware or whateverware got into my computer and, well, didn’t really do that much. One thing it did do was mess up my native e-mail handling app so it didn’t work. Oh, I could still get to my e-mail through another avenue, but it wouldn’t chime every time a new e-mail came in. It also would disconnect my Internet on me at random. Again, there were workarounds, but it was enough of a pain in the butt to ruin casual browsing.
And it was WONDERFUL.
Of course, it was wonderful until it was a problem. That same bug prevented a crucial software upgrade, and the fine folks at Apple tech support (I mean that, by the way; they were great) set me up with a better shield and I was back to my old bad habits in no time. Well, partially back. Lesson learned. And comic strip written.

Actually, don’t have to do either. Just ignore the WiFi and do the reports.

Probably needed the Wi-Fi to download the previously completed reports from the cloud, then a final edit, and print

Isn’t the WiFi just always on? Who “fires it up”?

I don’t really understand some people’s attitudes here. He’s bored silly, so let’s flunk him and make him do it again.
