I believe it was HarryCK who predicted something about car doors a few days ago. A gas mask and bulletproof vests helped. It seems that the confrontation was not a complete surprise for B-B Eyes. He has experience!

Considering the hits on the car, Tracy’s mask and hat must be bullet proof. He must have a force field around his head. :)

Unfortunately the colorist messed up the mask in P3. Painted most of it peach when it should be a dark grey. Damn that Gocomics colorist!

After this, B-B Eyes should no longer appear on the strip for at least 50 years. Murder, kidnapping and shootouts at Blackheart’s HQ and here should take care of that.

It’s now time for a brand new villain and let’s welcome that guy in the library…

Armed criminal action

Resisting arrest

Attempted murder (at least 3 counts)

Assaulting a police officer (3 counts)

Possession of an illegal weapon (sawed off shotgun)

Kidnapping (2 counts)

Not to mention the murder rap he was facing that started this whole mess.

If he doesn’t get sent to Death Row he’s definitely looking at life imprisonment.

I also see B-B Eyes respects Tracy’s reputation as a lethal lawman by wearing a bullet-proof vest. Otherwise he’d be the next name on Tracy’s list of kills.

They had a vested interest in procuring them!

Geez! Shell casings all over the place. This is gonna be a lot to clean up. And Mr Kleen has a new charge for BB Eyes. I’m sure the firearms are a violation of his bail; so he’s back to jail with that—unless there’s a really progressive judge willing to sign off on a new Bail amount.

Again, the writer references the yellow coat within the strip, which I believe was never Chester Gould’s intention. Within the strip, Tracy wears plain clothes, not a super hero type outfit. We readers appreciate (and want) the yellow coat as part of the strip’s tradition, but making an issue of Tracy’s coat within the story itself reduces the strip to a more “comic booky” approach, which is not how it should be, IMO!

Don’t worry, BB, a smart mouth lawyer will get you out in a few hours.

In that last panel, it looked for a moment like Tracy was masquerading as BB’s henchman.

Nice how they designed that gas mask to accommodate Tracy’s fedora.

Disappointed. No bullet to the head for B. B. Eyes. When are we EVER going to get rid of him?

Let’s see here, kidnapping,assault with a deadly weapon,ownership of illegal firearms,attempted murder of a police officer. You might want to get of that Pastis lawyer. The one defending Alex Jones and that Fulo guy who accused of his wife who has gone missing.He’s got his work cut out for him on those two losers! And I’m certain he’s not related to Steven over at Pearls Before Swine.

Someone mentioned “Brand New Villain” The teaser looks like a recycled Flyface. And BTW, where are Selleck and the henchmen? What happened to Jackal? Looks like more loose ends than usual are possible.

B.B. Eyes, you’re under arrest. Again. Expect a court appearance in 2069.
