They used to sell these plastic rings with little “teeth” in the middle, you were supposed to feed your pairs of socks through the ring when you put them in the wash to keep them together. It worked, but the teeth snagged the thread of some socks. When my brother discovered the rings flew across the room in an interesting way when thrown, that was the end of the sock system at our house.
Ryan, take a hint from a children’s librarian – you could probably turn this toon into a bestselling kid’s book. People seem to love stories about the adventures of inanimate objects. Go for it!
