When the clock had struck midnight here in Norway, January 1st 2000, I called my American friends for whom it was still December 31st 1999, and told them that civilisation hadn’t collapsed yet. :-)
Linus does this from time to time. One of my favorite strips shows CB throwing a rock into the water and Linus says “Nice going. It’s took that rock 4000 years to get to shore and now you’ve thrown it back”.
“Uh, lets see here… this week was next week last week… that makes this week last week, and next week isn’t this week, until next …” – Daffy Duck, opening from the Bugs Bunny Show
Linus detest from pulling Charlie Brown down. He deserves positive feedback to make up for injured finger and win the league matches. Science does not explain everything.

It’s also why the world will never end tomorrow.

Linus is right CB, everything is relative, even luck. You can play again on another occasion.

The truth is yesterday was never here and tomorrow will never come. It is always now.

“Tomorrow is another day, Charlie Brown.” “Frankly, Linus, I don’t give a darn.”

What Linus is trying to say is, “CB, it’s 5 o’clock somewhere … go knock back a few root beers!”

But Linus, since it’s always today, C.B. has an infinite number of opportunities to make today better.
