National Onion Rings Day (I know a lot of people like them, but I am not one of them)

I’ve been working in my garden on my days off. It’s a BIG garden. I measured it yesterday. It starts at the east end with 3 hills of squash. Then I have watermelons, muskmelon, carrots, green beans, tomatoes (large type like Better Boy), more watermelons, sweet corn, a section of weeds which will soon become more green beans, more tomatoes (cherry type), potatoes, and finally, 3 more hills of squash. From the first squash hill at the east end of my garden to the last squash hill at the west end, my garden measures 147 feet. North to south it’s 15 feet. That’s a LOT of weeding! In the weed section (the one where I’m going to plant green beans next week), I have hundreds of volunteer tomato plants that popped up. I just can’t throw them all on the weed pile, so I’ve been digging them up, potting them up and giving them away – potluck because I don’t know whether they’re cherry tomatoes or Big Boy type. Lots of them have been “adopted” and I hope to see more disappear over the weekend.

How many people eat all that produce? That’s not a garden, that’s a farm! LOL

I was playing tug-of-war with my son’s dog tonite and she let go of her end… I’m now sporting a black eye!

I forgot to say that I was leaning over the side of my chair at the time. The whap sure surprised me!

I actually LOL’d!!!

When i came home today from my mid day client i went into the bathroom for a “sit”.

Both Sweetheart and Kiki came in to keep me company.

Kiki rubbed up against Sweetheart.

Sweetheart barked and snapped.

Kiki hissed and ran.

Back to square one.

Just be glad you won’t be swimming with the fishes. Annie has confinement in mind, no doubt.
