I love it when you’re asked if you want to buy an “extended” warranty that only costs half as much as the gadget you’re buying.

Reminds me of the Yamaha A/V receiver I bought several years ago. It died three months after the warranty expired. Replaced it with a Denon, and it’s still working fine after 6 years.
My name must be permanently on the list.
That is how it works, isn’t it?
