Love seeing the more obscure kitties like Route 9, This-Side-Up and Mr Hollingsworth.

I know somebody is gonna ask… Thissideup was found living in a packing box and Route Nine was found out on the highway.

June 30 is:

Social Media Day (I guess this can pass as social media)

National OOTD Day. I had to google that one – it’s Outfit Of The Day. My outfit of the day will be shorts and a T-shirt. I get to wear shorts at work because I work outside in the garden center. I wish I could wear sandals too, but I have to wear actual shoes and socks. I hate wearing shoes and socks! I wear a Walmart hat too – it’s a baseball style hat. It’s gonna be a hot day, but I thrive in hot weather. :)

It’s also National Meteor Watch Day. But I’m unaware of any meteor showers going on at this time.

And I saved the best one for last. It’s my last day of work before I get a vacation. Six GLORIOUS days off in a row (sadly, not all paid days off). I have a lot of paid time off hours, even after taking 4 paid days off in May. Now I’m taking more time off this coming week, then I work 2 weeks, then I’m taking another 5 days (or is it 6? I forget). And I’ll still have hours for my longer vacation in August if my manager ever gets around to approving it. But I will have time to catch up with the weeds in my garden, get my lawn mowed and do plenty of relaxing and reading. I really need to do some house cleaning too.

I have an index card /cheat sheet in my desk drawer. Now I have pictures, too. TY, Graham.The black and white boy got adopted yesterday by a nice young couple who wanted a second kitty.The two tiny tabbies I got yesterday are being watched over by mama kitty. They just fit into the group. Another foster mom is taking them tomorrow morning and mama is going to her new home on Wed. Then I’ll be down to 3 babies.
