I actually feel sorry for the doggies this time

You have to wonder why the doggies would still believe those rapscallions. ( I’ve always wanted to use that word).

File this under the “Why me oh Lord” category. I have people coming to see the house tomorrow at 9:30, 10:30 and 2:00 and I just discovered now at 11:45 Pm that I have no hot water!

I went down under the house and I didn’t smell gas, there is no water around the water heater so I think the pilot light is out. Of course I have no idea how to light it.

They’re predicting a pretty hot day here today – maybe getting hit with a Super Soaker would feel good. Actually, I was watering plants in the garden center on Saturday and it was a rather warm day (I have a tendency to understate the “warm” – actually, it was downright HOT – around 85° and somewhat humid) and a customer wearing flip-flops asked to to spray her feet. First time I ever had that request, but I obliged her.

July 1 is

National Ice Cream Creative Flavor Day. All I have in my freezer is vanilla and chocolate – nothing creative there!

National Postal Worker Day

National U.S. Postage Stamp Day (and I need to buy stamps today. I seem to be all out).

National Gingersnap Day

It’s also my first day of a 6-day vacation so I could actually bake some of those gingersnaps and I could give some to a postal worker. Meh – maybe not.

In response to whisplicka from yesterday – I appreciate the offer, but as much as I would love to visit with a Graham Cracker friend, I think I’ll be pretty tied up with the gardening and stuff. And then there’s the problem of who would look after my kitties.

As it’s not Bunday anymore, it must be time for Monday Cats!
