It’s probably true that any commercial electric power generation is less polluting than using a gasoline engine. Of course, it’s better if that power comes from a renewable source, or at least natural gas, rather than coal.
The “Stanley Steamer” was a steam-powered automobile produced by the Stanley Motor Carriage Company (1902-1924). (My grandfather had one, but that was before I was born, and I never saw it.) Do any exist today outside of museums?
