A frequent visitor to a patent office is the crank.

I’m not a fan of that….

This will build up your arm strength, so that when the hand crank-start automobile comes along, you’ll be all set.

And coming SOON, the “Gin Mill” is invented! And EVERYBODY is Happy!

Providing the windmill is performing a function, such as turning a mill stone, the crank is a possible backup system if you can find someone capable of operating it.

I see two cranks…

The blades are solar panels to drive the crank if no-one is available.

If the the blades were made with an aerodynamic camber the wind pressure would rotate them with out a crank. The catch is there has to be wind.

Not the sharpest knife around.
