Is this the intro to a new character: the goblet. I think we have seen him (it?) before but not as a speaking being.

Yeah, PBS can be pretty graphic at times! Check out the “Tudors.”

There are plenty of examples of PBS being graphic, but “Tudors” was on Showtime.

It’s the grail, no gender. It’s a refugee from an old adventure they had in the dark ages a couple of years ago.

Ah, yes, that was the story that also introduced to us to the ORIGINAL Robin Hood – OUR Robin’s Aunt Jane!

I’d forgotten that the Holy Grail was still rooming with Sir Dudley.

But seriously, Boody. You really think that Sir Dudley would sit still for a bunch of violin players? Please – this is Sir Dudley we’re talking about. He’s the one who tried to joust a dormant beehive in the dead of winter just because he was bored and needed an outlet for his frustrated warrior instincts!

legaleagle48, I really don’t want to get sued by Jeff Parker. His name is Sir Dudley. Sir Rodney is over at the Wizard of Id. :)

Actually, Boody got just the ‘violins’ part wrong; they’re watching Beowulf.

Oops – sorry, mythtickle (you’re Justin Thompson traveling incognito, right?) I went back and edited my post to avoid any legal complications for you. It’s just that I always get Sir Rodney and Sir Dudley confused!

There’s a simple way to remember which is which legaleagle:

Sir Dudley is the one with no arms.

And Sir Rodney is the one with no backbone.

What is the red R on Dudley’s helmet flag about? Rush? Republican? I notice it turned green when he connected himself to the tube. a sign of calming, perhaps.

RE: flags. The R is because Dudley is thinking of his R rated entertainment that he’s off to ogle. The green flags are because he is watching sex and violence and is green with envy. In the last frame he is even greener. That’s all.
